CAN PHOTOGRAPHY HELP OUR PLANET?
What happens when you combine landscape photography with an activist sense of urgency?
My self description of conservation photography is let the pictures find their way to the desks of politicians, business professionals, and ordinary citizens.Once the pictures went trough these steps they have to transmit an emotion and let people think about the future of our Planet. It's not an easy process but in 2019 the impact of a picture on people minds must be considered as a way to sensitize them about Earth issues.
YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
What's my role as Environment Activist?
Photography's increasingly prominent role in contemporary society as a means of documenting reality, of communication and of contemporary artistic expression, attests to its ability to bring to a wide public themes of great significance for the planet, arousing emotion and provoking reflection through its language. My role is to bring at the eyes of society the environmental issues that everyday afflict our ecosystem.
WHAT I'VE DONE TO HELP?
2800 KM ON A BIKE TROUGH THE WILD NEW ZEALAND WINTER.
1KM -1 TREE
Taking care of our planet concerns all of us. We depend on a fragile and increasingly damaged ecosystem due to climate change caused by human activities. Climate change is no longer just a threat to our children or grandchildren, but to our own generation. At the age of 20 I decided to challenge my self in an extreme photography expedition in New Zealand, a project called Free Wheels Adventure. Riding my bike for 2800 km and sleeping in my tent for 35 days, one tree is been planted for each km rode. That's been possible thanks to my sponsor and to the global reforestation platform One Tree Planted.
